The following is the official press release from TheWax.com regarding the rumor of a certain computer virus: TheWax.com hereby denies any liability resulting from the unauthorized use of "T-Bone's Stress Relief Aquarium 2.1" (a.k.a. "Torture-A-Fish" or "the fish"). A computer virus may or may not be activated on May 28, 1999. The date and pathology of this virus are, at this time, uncertain.   In order to minimize any potential damage to computer contents and or performance, the Management and Staff of TheWax.com wish, at this time, to make the public aware of the possible consequences from the unauthorized, acquisition of "the fish."   Further; personal copies of "the fish" were at no time ever authorized for download or trade by TheWax.com. The virus of unknown origin, rumored to be attached to the pirated files (fish.exe) has only recently been made known to TheWax.com, which in no way condones this act.   The Management would like to stress this virus did not originate at TheWax.com.
