Unlit World

by Betty

Wow, what a declaration of "independence", we've touched the point on something new. So much has been unwrapped, too much has been criticized, nothing hasn't been taken for granted. This wonderful pill slipped underneath our tongue. Completely blind, once again, fallen asleep. Time has passed, a thousand years, wonderful dreams; cars, wars, drugs, religion, murder, a bizarre fantasy. We know there is more to this and our patience wears out. Soon enough we become so mad, insane. Become delusional by our fantastic nightmares, start blaming others, raping others, cheating others, praying for others. This uncertain tale is soon to be a memory. A black and white photograph. This decade capable of waking up. I crave nothing else so much.
